It is worthy of note that once you have been given Provisional admission  by the institute of your choice and you choose to accept the course and institution given you by JAMB, then you must pay a certain fee. Called "Acceptance fee". Note that this "Acceptance fee" is paid immediately after the “provincial” admission is given, there is usually a deadline for the payment of acceptance fee after which the admission will be retrieved. So ensure you pay your acceptance fee as fast as possible to avoid falling victim.

Therefore, so that you won’t be deceived, UNIBEN ACCEPTANCE FEE for all new students irrespective of the faculty is pegged at N49,000. You are required to pay first before proceeding to get your school fees paid.

Uniben school fees for Returning students(200level +)

The University of Benin has recently increased it's school fees for old students with (#1,000).

The recent school fees is now #15,400. All students are advised to proceed to the school portal to make payment.

Uniben school fees for New Students! (Freshers)

Newly admitted students are required to pay school fees in as much to N50,000 for all other faculties except Medicine and Surgery which is close to N70,000. However, note that the school fees reduces in the second year to N12,400 for management,social science and Arts or N14,400 as the case maybe depending on whether you are a science( Basic medical science, Engineering, Environmental science, physical science, Pharmacy, Medicine and surgery, dentistry).

Don't be scared you won’t have to pay that much again as from your second year as it will now reduced to N12,400 or N14,400 as the case may be as stated above.

Procedure On How To Pay Uniben Acceptance Fees

To pay your acceptance and school fees online is very easy. This method can be done on your android phone with just your ATM Card and data. However, if you are not sure of yourself, don’t attempt it,to avoid paying a wrong account.

Step 1. Login to your Uniben portal with the new student id and password.

•click on the menu button, click on “my data” select the “payment” option.

Step 2. Click on the “add online Payment ticket” button.

Step 3. Select from the payment category, “acceptance fee” and click on the “create ticket” button.

Step 4. A new payment ticket will be created you can then click the link on the payment ticket.

Step 5. A new page will appear, you can proceed to click on the “Pay via Remita” button to view payment details.

Step 6. Click on the “submit” Button to proceed with the payment through interswitch payment gateway.

Step 7. Select your ATM card type, this could either be a verve or master card.

Step 8. Supply the card details (card Number, expiration date, 4-digit pin etc) as required.

Step 9. Go through all the process over again and ensure all details are well entered.

Step 10. You can then proceed to Click on the “pay” button.

Step 11. If payment is successful, an acceptance slip will appear on the screen.

Step 12. Ensure you Copy the “clearance activation code” on the acceptance payment slip.

On completion of all the steps above, i will like to say congratulations! You are now a partial (50%) student of the University of Benin.You can now proceed to do your online clearance when the clearance portal is open.
